I enjoyed capturing these memories for your family. It really touched my heart to do this for you. I had a fellow photographer look over the images for me, I told him you had recently lost your mother, and that's why it seemed so important to get some nice images with your dad, he said, "The cut off branch of that tree represents the mother". I thought that was so sweet. It does seem symbolic acknowledging that someone is missing. I think the images are beautiful. (Even if we were fighting that wind!) I hope these are as special to you and your family as I think they will be. Now, I feel inspired to get my sisters together and do a shoot with my parents!
